CONCERT project organizes a workshop to discuss a range of topics pertaining to the current status, difficulties and opportunities in the field of medical radiation protection of pregnant patients and pregnant personnel. Results of the CONCERT project are going to be presented during the meeting. Conclusions will lead into the elaboration of a guidance document on a) the management of pregnant patients who need radiologic examinations, b) the management of pregnant employees exposed to considerable levels of occupational radiation and c) policies for screening women of childbearing age for pregnancy before imaging procedures. CONCERT’s research group will be very happy to welcome you to the fascinating city of Heraklion.
